Giving Back

The Giving Back Committee host events for the senior class to do service within the community and give back to the wonderful city of Ithaca we all love. We also want to help every student and student organization with this effort and offer our services in promoting and helping out with your events. Just let us know about what you are doing and we will support you in any way we can! We hope with our initiatives, we can bring the senior class together for important causes and give back to the Ithaca community and IC.

Jessica Dillon:

I am a senior journalism major with minors in history and communication management and design who hopes to be an event planner after graduating from IC. I love playing field hockey with my teammates on IC’s varsity squad, building houses with Habitat, and planning events with ICMSA to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. I also love discovering new things in the beautiful Ithaca area and spending time with my roommates and friends.

Amanda Riggio:

I am a Senior Integrated Marketing Communications major, Journalism minor. Outside of class, I work in the Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs as a Student Leadership Consultant, teach a globalizing classroom curriculum at South Hill Elementary school, volunteer with the Tompkins County Family Reading Partnership, and spend the rest of my time loving the Senior Class Give Back Committee and exploring Ithaca. I could not be more excited to spend this final year with you all!

Alexa Bonaros:

I’m a senior Anthropology student with an Integrative Health minor. I am involved with the Senior Class Cabinet as a co-chair on the Giving Back Committee and I’m loving it! We plan to do a bunch of great events this semester to get the seniors involved and motivated in a bunch of awesome, charitable events. I’m also involved in the Anthropology Club as Vice President. I work at Urban Outfitters downtown so come visit! I love hiking around Ithaca, camping, going to the farmers market and, when the weather permits, spending my day at the beautiful Ithaca gorges. I look forward to an incredibly memorable senior year.

Sarah Brenner:

I’m a Speech-Language Pathology major, Deaf Studies minor from Paramus, New Jersey. On campus I’m involved in the National Student Speech-Language and Hearing Association, the President’s Host Committee, and Spread the Word to End the Word. I love being a part of the Giving Back Committee because I think it’s important for seniors to give back to the school and the town that offered them an amazing four years.
