Let me preface this bio by getting one thing out of the way: I’m WAY beyond pumped for this year.  I’m giddy as hell to get things going and do my part to make your Senior Year surpass your expectations.

Now that that’s out of the way, it’s formality time.  I’m Brian, and I’ll be serving as your Director of Marketing.  My job, in a nutshell, is to spread the word about all our incredible events and keep everyone connected (virtually, at least).

I’m an Integrated Marketing Communications major and Communication Management and Design minor, both within the Park School of Communications.  I was born and raised in Hillsborough, New Jersey, but usually just say “Princeton” when anyone asks.

In my three years on campus I’ve been involved in a number of organizations and activities, and the same holds true for this year.  After spending a semester interning in Hollywood I’m excited to come back to campus and serve as Co-Chair of Park School Dean’s Hosts, and as a Student Designer for Park Design House.

Additionally, I am a nationally certified freelance bartender and work for Ithaca College Catering- making drinks for seniors, locals, alums, and even your professors.  I’m always available to work events, so if you’re looking to throw a serious party, give me a call- you know I’m down.

This year I’m living right outside the back entrance to the school on Coddington with some pretty awesome people.  If you’re feeling friendly, stop on by. Do it. You won’t.

I’m especially excited to serve in this particular position.  My friends at home joke that I’m “majoring in Facebook,” for how much I use the social giant.  While I won’t have the Facebook logo on my diploma, they aren’t too far off.  Promoting events and organizations is what I do.  I’ve worked promotions for a radio station, helped develop an international media and financial giant’s first social media policy, spread awareness of IC’s own Office of Career Services, and for about four months was the social voice of AMC’s Emmy-winning lineup; Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, and The Killing, as well as much more. #ComeAtMeZuck

This year is about realizing our potential as a whole.  Becoming a community and increasing involvement in anything and everything- from bar nights and wine tours to art shows and recitals to volunteer work and community service.  We’ve already done so much as a class, it’s time we take all expectations and blow them away.

Get Ready. This will be excellent.
